Founded in 1980 by a dedicated group from local churches, Outreach Mission has been a beacon of hope for those experiencing homelessness. After becoming incorporated in 1988, the organization expanded its services, including the renovation of a women's shelter in the early 1990s. In May 2018, the mission evolved to operate 24/7, adopting a 'Low Barrier, Housing First' approach to better serve the community.
