Founded in October 1995, Out Loud Chorus emerged from the dreams of a passionate group dedicated to creating a mixed chorus for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender community in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and surrounding areas. As Washtenaw County's only arts organization for the entire LGBTQ+ community, the chorus is committed to delivering musically excellent shows that entertain and educate.
Out Loud Chorus aims to educate the public about choral music while reducing bigotry and discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community through powerful performances. The chorus collaborates with both local and international artists, supporting various organizations and events within the community.
