Founded in 2004, Our Military Kids began with a pilot program for a National Guard unit in Winchester, Virginia. The success of this initiative led to a nationwide expansion, providing vital support to children of deployed National Guard, Reserve, and post-9/11 combat-injured veterans. Today, this national organization has empowered over 88,000 military children and teens with activity scholarships, funded entirely by generous private donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors.

Since its inception, Our Military Kids has awarded more than 88,000 activity scholarships worth $32 million, positively impacting children and families in all 50 states, U.S. territories, and the District of Columbia.
