About OTR A.D.O.P.T.

Founded in 2010 by Danny Klingler, OTR A.D.O.P.T. is dedicated to preserving the architectural heritage of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati. After studying urban planning at MIT, Danny returned to his hometown with a vision to combat the demolition of historic buildings. OTR A.D.O.P.T. focuses on acquiring vacant and condemned structures that are deemed "too far gone" and implements innovative engineering solutions to stabilize them. By partnering with individuals and small developers, these revitalized buildings are transformed into vibrant spaces for living and commerce.

Impact

To date, OTR A.D.O.P.T. has successfully saved over 60 historic buildings, primarily in Over-the-Rhine, as well as in the West End, Northside, and Sedamsville. Many of these structures now serve as apartments, restaurants, bars, and artist spaces, contributing to the community's revitalization.
