Our Story

Established in 1966, Oswego County Opportunities Inc. (OCO) was created in response to the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964, focusing on eliminating poverty. Over the years, OCO has transformed into a comprehensive human services agency, employing over 660 staff and managing 50 programs across more than 80 sites in Oswego County.

Impact

OCO serves nearly 20,000 consumers annually, providing essential services that promote self-sufficiency and enhance quality of life. Programs like the Family Care initiative have successfully matched individuals with disabilities to supportive host homes, fostering community integration.
