Our Story

In the early 1990s, visionary members of the Oromo diaspora in Toronto, Canada, dreamed of creating a vibrant community through sports. This dream materialized in 1996 with the launch of the inaugural Oromo Sports Federation in North America (OSFNA) soccer tournament. This event not only showcased the talent and passion for soccer within the Oromo community but also became a rallying point for cultural exchange and unity.

Impact

OSFNA's influence extends beyond Minnesota, traveling to various cities to host its prestigious soccer tournament. This initiative promotes sportsmanship and competition while fostering cultural exchange and community building.
