Our Story

When Oscar was just four months old, he was diagnosed with bilateral Wilms Tumor, a type of kidney cancer. His long hospital stays and the emotional toll of his illness inspired his parents to create The Oscar Litwak Foundation after his passing. The foundation aims to provide hospitalized children with access to play and entertainment through Mobile Playrooms, specially designed carts filled with toys and activities that can be wheeled to patients in need.

The Oscar Litwak Foundation has successfully placed over 180 Mobile Playrooms in hospitals and pediatric institutions across the U.S., directly impacting the lives of countless hospitalized children by providing them with access to play and entertainment during their medical treatment.
