Our Story

In 2002, Rod and Sarah Martin traveled to Guatemala to adopt a baby girl. During their visit, they discovered the dire conditions in local orphanages and felt a divine calling to help. This led to the founding of Orphan Resources International, which has since grown to support over 50 orphanages. Initially, the organization sent work teams to assist with projects and provided food and donations to three private orphanages. Today, ORI continues to expand its reach, offering essential support and services to vulnerable children.

Our Impact

With a mission to bring hope to Guatemalan children, ORI provides a vital support network for orphanages, ensuring they receive physical necessities and counseling services.
