The Orlando Gay Chorus was founded on Valentine’s Day in 1990, evolving into one of the largest mixed LGBTQ+ choruses in the nation. This vibrant ensemble, composed of LGBTQ+ individuals and allies from diverse backgrounds, aims to change hearts and minds through the power of music.
With a commitment to community engagement, the Orlando Gay Chorus has participated in numerous GALA Festivals and served as a beacon of hope following the Pulse tragedy, engaging in over 150 related community events in its first year. The organization was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2020 Harvey Milk Diversity Breakfast & Center Awards.
