Our Story
Organized Communities Against Deportations (OCAD) is a collective of undocumented individuals and allies dedicated to resisting deportations and the criminalization of immigrants and people of color in Chicago and its surrounding areas. Emerging from the courageous efforts of the Immigrant Youth Justice League, OCAD continues to center its work on the experiences of undocumented people. This intergenerational group has evolved from a volunteer collective to a staffed organization, ensuring that the voices of those most affected by deportation are heard and prioritized.
