The Organization for Community Health Outreach (OCHO) was founded in response to Hurricane Mitch's devastation in 1999. A dedicated group of Baltimore clinicians collaborated with local organizations to provide essential medical assistance in Honduras. Over the years, OCHO has evolved into a nonprofit committed to enhancing healthcare access and education in rural communities, emphasizing sustainable partnerships and community involvement.

Our Impact

OCHO has successfully implemented various health initiatives, including a water purification plant, a health center, and telemedicine consultations, significantly improving healthcare access in rural Honduras.
