Our Story
From the exclusion of four trans women at an LGBTQ+ event to a thriving community of over 300 members, Organización Latina Trans in Texas has emerged as a beacon of hope and resilience. Founded in 2015, OLTT addresses injustices faced by trans women of color, fostering unity and empowerment.
Our Impact
In 2023, OLTT's trans-led community stood strong against a challenging Texas government, providing vital support to those in need. This year alone, 87 individuals received free legal assistance, 50 accessed gender-affirming medical care, and 30 were liberated from immigration detention. With 160 attendees at monthly leadership meetings, OLTT is making a significant difference.
