The Oregon Skating Council (OSC) was established to enhance the figure skating experience in Oregon and its neighboring states. Formed as a traditional inter-club association, OSC allows various Oregon clubs to participate in the planning and execution of major skating events, including the prestigious 1978 U.S. Figure Skating Nationals. Recognized by United States Figure Skating (USFS), OSC is dedicated to fostering a vibrant skating community.
Through fundraising efforts and partnerships with SPORT OREGON, OSC hosts significant skating events that generate funds for member clubs. These funds are crucial for supporting grant requests that promote figure skating and benefit all members within the Council.
