With a presence in all 36 counties, OCAS collaborates with 24 Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) to provide essential training and support to multidisciplinary teams. This collaboration ensures that specialists in medical assessment, forensic interviewing, trauma-focused therapy, and family advocacy are equipped to deliver the highest quality care to children in need.

Each year, OCAS serves 7,895 children and conducts prevention trainings for communities statewide. By preventing abuse, OCAS not only spares children from unnecessary pain but also saves an average of $830,000 in lifetime costs associated with abuse.
