Orchard Village

Our Story

Founded in 1972 by attorney Bernard Saltzberg, Orchard Village was born from a father's vision to create a nurturing community for individuals with developmental disabilities. Located in Skokie, Illinois, Orchard Village has grown from a single residence to a comprehensive support system, offering community-integrated living, vocational training, and educational programs.

Impact

With the support of generous donors, Orchard Village positively impacts the lives of nearly 300 individuals and their families each year. This includes 65 individuals receiving 24-hour assistance in 10 homes and 70 clients engaged in vocational programs.
