Orangevale Community Foundation

Our Story

The Orangevale Community Foundation was established by a dedicated team of volunteers with a mission to uplift those in need within the community. It all began in 2011 with the launch of the Orangevale-Fair Oaks Food Bank, a vital resource for families facing food insecurity. As the years progressed, the vision expanded to include various initiatives such as the Big Day of Service in 2018, HART of Orangevale-Fair Oaks in 2020, and the Food Bank Farm in 2021. In 2022, the foundation introduced the Orangevale Teen Council, fostering leadership among local youth. Each initiative builds upon the strong foundation of community support, aiming to make Fair Oaks and Orangevale a better place to live, work, and thrive.

Our Impact

Addressing critical issues like housing, food insecurity, and community engagement, the foundation promotes collaboration, education, and entrepreneurship. Together, these efforts create a more connected and resilient community.
