Our Story
Founded in 1980 by Houston arts patron Marilyn Oshman, the Orange Show Foundation was established to preserve the Orange Show Monument, a unique piece of visionary art. With the support of 21 community leaders, the foundation has expanded its mission to include the Beer Can House, Smither Park, and the Houston Art Car Parade, making art accessible to all.

Each year, the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art impacts over 300,000 individuals, offering free or low-cost arts education and opportunities for creative self-expression.
