Our Story

Founded in 2016 by Charlie Zhang and Doug Freeman, OC Music & Dance was created to ensure that every child has access to high-quality performing arts education, regardless of their financial situation. Inspired by Charlie's own journey from a challenging childhood in China to becoming a successful businessman and philanthropist, this nonprofit aims to eliminate financial barriers to artistic education.
