Our Story
The Orange County Model Engineers, originally founded in 1977 as the Orange County Live Steamers, has a rich history rooted in the passion for railroading. Located in Fairview Park, Costa Mesa, California, OCME operates the Mackerel Flats and Goathill Junction Railroad, featuring nearly 5 miles of track. This miniature railroad offers a variety of trains that cater to different scales, providing an engaging and educational experience for both members and the public.
