Our Story

The Orange County Land Trust, accredited by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission in 2013, has successfully protected nearly 6,500 acres of diverse landscapes. Through conservation agreements, property donations, and acquisitions, OCLT safeguards unique meadows, fertile farmlands, stream corridors, wetlands, and forests. Many of these properties are accessible to the public, while others remain protected from future development.

With nearly 60% of funding sourced from community donations, OCLT plays a vital role in preserving wildlife habitats, water resources, and the rural character of Orange County for future generations.
