Founded in 2005, Orange County Communities Organized for Responsible Development (OCCORD) is a community-labor alliance dedicated to fostering civic participation and advocacy. By engaging residents, workers, and stakeholders, OCCORD addresses the profound civic disconnection in Orange County, particularly in areas like Anaheim and Santa Ana, where working families and immigrant communities have historically been excluded from decision-making processes.
