Our Story

The journey of the Orange County Children’s Therapeutic Arts Center (OCCTAC) began in 2000, founded by Dr. Ana Jimenez-Hami in loving memory of her parents. Driven by a passion for children with special needs and inspired by her parents' humanitarian legacy, OCCTAC emerged as a beacon of hope for at-risk youth in Orange County. Initially offering after-school music and art classes for children with special needs, the program quickly expanded to serve all youth, reflecting the pressing needs of the community.

Impact

Today, OCCTAC serves over 6,000 children, 500 youth, and 200 adults annually, empowering growth, confidence, and wellness through diverse educational and therapeutic programs.
