In the spring of 2006, the Mechanicsburg Area School District PTOs and Parent Advisory Committee members initiated Operation Wildcat to assist local students and families in need. With the support of the school board and district administration, a storage site was established at Mechanicsburg Middle School, allowing Operation Wildcat to pool community resources effectively.
Operation Wildcat collects and distributes essential items such as school supplies, clothing, and food, significantly improving the lives of local students and families within the Mechanicsburg Area School District.
