Our Story
Operation Stand Down Tennessee began in 1993 as a coalition of dedicated volunteers and organizations focused on providing outreach and services to Nashville’s chronically homeless Veteran population. Over the years, the organization has expanded its offerings to include transitional housing, employment assistance, and various support programs tailored for Veterans and their families. By adapting services to meet the needs of Post 9/11 Veterans, OSDTN aims to prevent homelessness by engaging Veterans early in their transition and helping them access vital benefits and employment opportunities.
