Founded in 1988 by Dr. JP Clawson, Operation of Hope is dedicated to providing free, life-changing surgical care for children suffering from facial deformities and burns. With a commitment to creating a self-sustaining program of hope, the organization mobilizes teams of medical and non-medical volunteers to perform surgeries and provide education.

Impact

Since its inception, Operation of Hope has performed over 4,856 surgeries, positively impacting more than 10,000 families. The organization has mobilized over 362 volunteers and surgeons, earning recognition for its humanitarian efforts in major publications.
