Founded in 2009, Operation North Pole is a volunteer-driven public charity dedicated to providing a magical fantasy trip to the North Pole for families with children battling life-threatening illnesses. This enchanting experience includes a festive train ride, a visit with Santa, and a winter wonderland filled with fun and games. The mission is to offer these families a brief respite from the emotional and financial stresses they face daily.

Impact of Operation North Pole

In addition to the annual Winter Wonderland event, Operation North Pole has distributed over 20,000 new winter coats to children and schools throughout the Chicago suburbs, partnering with local Fire and Police Departments and Operation Warm. Blood drives are also hosted in collaboration with Vitalant Blood Services, supporting numerous charitable missions.
