Operation Mobilization began with the heartfelt prayers of Dorothea Clapp in the 1950s, leading to the conversion of George Verwer and the founding of OM. Today, over 5,000 workers from more than 130 nationalities are dedicated to reaching the least reached communities with the Gospel.
In 2020, OM established over 1,000 new fellowship groups of Jesus followers, marking significant milestones such as the 20 millionth person stepping aboard an OM ship in 2015.
