Our Story

Operation Hope was established in 1986 by compassionate local residents who recognized the urgent needs of individuals struggling with food and shelter. This community-driven initiative began with clergy and lay leaders uniting to provide essential food and emergency shelter. Over the years, Operation Hope has evolved into a vital 501(c)(3) organization, expanding its services to include shelters for men, women, and families, as well as supportive affordable housing and clinical support services.

Our Impact

Operation Hope’s Food Pantry serves over 123,000 meals annually, assisting more than 200 families each month, including 100 children. The Supportive Affordable Housing program offers clean, safe, and permanent rental housing for previously homeless families and individuals, empowering them to maintain stability and achieve their goals.
