Our Story
Operation Hat Trick was founded in 2008 by Dot Sheehan, inspired by the needs of head-wounded soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. The organization honors the memory of Navy SEALs Nate Hardy and Mike Koch, who were part of the University of New Hampshire community. Today, OHT has evolved into a national movement, supported by over 500 colleges, universities, and major sports leagues, dedicated to providing critical support to wounded service members and veterans.
Impact
Operation Hat Trick has donated over $5 million to more than 120 organizations across 41 states, significantly aiding the recovery and support of wounded service members and veterans.
