Operation Chillout is New Jersey’s oldest all-volunteer mobile outreach dedicated to assisting homeless veterans. Founded in December 2000, this compassionate organization serves veterans across New Jersey, Northeast Pennsylvania, and coastal Rhode Island. Initially established to aid homeless Vietnam veterans, Operation Chillout has evolved into a vital resource for all homeless individuals, providing essential supplies and survival gear.

Each year, Operation Chillout prepares and distributes backpacks filled with warm clothing to homeless individuals at no cost. Additionally, during the summer months, the organization delivers life-saving bottled water, T-shirts, and baseball caps to homeless veterans, ensuring they receive the support they need.
