Founded in 2014, Opera Wilmington has become a cultural touchstone in the coastal Carolina region, providing professional, high-quality productions and educational outreach programs. The company debuted with a production of Franz Lehár’s The Merry Widow and has since aimed to inspire appreciation of opera within the Wilmington community and surrounding areas.
