Opening Night Theater was founded with a simple yet powerful vision: to bring the joy of musical theatre to children in Los Angeles. What began as a parent’s initiative to introduce a theatre program at an elementary school has blossomed into a vibrant community dedicated to nurturing young talent. Since 2017, ON! Theater has been producing musical productions across the Los Angeles school system, officially launching as a nonprofit organization in 2019.

Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, ON! Theater adapted by hosting virtual musicals and showcases, ensuring that creativity and expression continued to thrive. In 2021, the doors officially opened, welcoming young performers to a space where they can explore their passions and develop essential skills.
