Our Story

Open Studio Project began in Chicago in 1991 with a mission to create art and serve communities. Founded by three dedicated art therapists, OSP has evolved to provide art-based programs that foster personal growth and social emotional learning. Since relocating to Evanston, IL in 2000, the organization has expanded its reach, collaborating with schools and agencies to adapt its services for diverse populations, including those experiencing homelessness and individuals with disabilities.
