Open Hands Midway

Our Story

Open Hands Midway began as an outreach ministry of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, dedicated to serving the St. Paul Midway area. Over the years, it has evolved into a vital nonprofit organization, officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) in 2009, expanding its services to include a food shelf and meal programs.

Impact

In 2023, Open Hands Midway served 8,844 meals through its Monday meal program and 7,385 meals on Wednesdays. The organization also distributed approximately 28,800 pounds of fresh produce in 2024, significantly increasing its outreach.
