Our Story
In 1992, parishioners at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Cleveland Heights recognized a critical need for after-school support and opened their doors to local students. Since then, Open Doors Academy has expanded significantly, now serving over 1,300 scholars across 29 locations in Northern Ohio, providing essential out-of-school time programming.
Impact
Open Doors Academy positively impacts over 1,800 scholars each year, boasting a remarkable 93% high school graduation rate since 2009. Notably, 100% of Cleveland Heights scholars who attended summer camp outperformed their peers academically.
