Our Story

Onward We Learn is Rhode Island’s most comprehensive college readiness program, dedicated to supporting middle and high school students in urban districts. Inspired by the belief that caring adults can help young people overcome challenges, this organization provides long-term guidance and support to foster academic success and college aspirations.

Impact

Each year, Onward We Learn supports approximately 4,200 students through 29 dedicated advisors across 43 schools and colleges. With a remarkable 91% high school graduation rate, Onward We Learn significantly outperforms the state average for urban districts, demonstrating the effectiveness of its programs.
