Brien on April 3, 2009, marked a significant victory for marriage equality in Iowa. As the landscape of LGBTQ rights evolved, One Iowa shifted its mission to ensure that the rights and dignity of LGBTQ individuals are respected across all aspects of life. Today, One Iowa is dedicated to empowering and improving the lives of LGBTQ Iowans statewide.
