Our Story
One Hundred Miles is a dedicated coastal nonprofit founded in 2013, focused on protecting and preserving Georgia’s 100-mile coast through advocacy, education, and community engagement. The organization elevates the coast as a place of historical, cultural, and biological significance.
Impact
Through successful advocacy, One Hundred Miles has improved the Erosion and Sedimentation Act, established a 25-foot buffer for salt marshes, and galvanized opposition to offshore drilling. With over 16,000 advocates, the organization is a powerful force for environmental protection.
