Our Story
One Community One Family Inc (OCOF) began its journey in 2005 as a program of the Community Mental Health Center, Inc. (CMHC), dedicated to leading the development of a comprehensive System of Care in Southeastern Indiana. An Advisory Board, composed of key stakeholders including families of youth involved in the system, was established to assess community needs and implement effective solutions. Over the years, OCOF has successfully introduced numerous evidence-based programs and supports, significantly enhancing the System of Care.
In 2008, OCOF received a cooperative agreement from the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration, which allowed for further development of the System of Care, resulting in improved outcomes for countless children and families. Recognizing the need for independence, OCOF became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2014, continuing its mission with a dedicated team focused on empowering parents, youth, and partner organizations.
