Our Story
On Lok began in 1971 with a vision to transform elder care in San Francisco. Recognizing that traditional models were failing to meet the needs of seniors, Dr. William L. Gee and social worker Marie-Louise Ansak created a program that allows older adults to age in their own homes while receiving essential services. This innovative approach led to the establishment of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).
