Our Story

Founded in 1837 by the Ohio Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends, Olney Friends School was established to provide quality education to both boys and girls. Originally modeled after Quaker boarding schools in Philadelphia, the school has evolved to serve a diverse student body from various backgrounds. Since becoming independent in 1998, it continues to uphold its Quaker values while adapting its educational offerings to meet the needs of its students.
