Our Story

Ollie’s Orchestra was founded by Rachel and Max, inspired by their son Ollie, who faced a rare brain tumor at just 9 months old. The calming and joyful effects of music during Ollie's treatment sparked the creation of this nonprofit, dedicated to offering similar musical experiences to other children battling cancer. Officially launched in June 2021 with support from the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Ollie’s Orchestra aims to distribute musical instruments, provide music education, and raise awareness for pediatric cancer.

Our Impact

Ollie’s Orchestra provides musical instruments and education to infants, children, and adolescents with cancer, helping to soothe and bring joy during treatment. The organization has successfully distributed backpacks filled with instruments to children in hospitals, promoting music as a healing tool.
