Our Story
The Old Towne Preservation Association was founded in 1985 by passionate community members dedicated to protecting the historic neighborhood adjacent to Chapman University. Originally named 'Voters for Old Towne Preservation', the organization emerged from a community meeting that sparked significant public interest. Over the years, OTPA has evolved into a multifaceted organization committed to preserving the historic character of Old Towne Orange, advocating for preservation issues, and engaging the community in various initiatives.
