Our Story
The Old Lyme Children’s Learning Center, Inc., established in 1987, is a testament to the dedication of the Lyme/Old Lyme community. Spearheaded by the vision of Mrs. Connie Pike, a generous supporter, the center began with the construction of its first phase at 57 Lyme Street, which now houses our Infant and Transition programs. In 1992, the center expanded with a refurbished building that became home to our Toddler program, providing a nurturing educational space for up to sixteen children. Funded through a combination of tuition, community donations, and fundraising efforts, OLCLC continues to thrive as a cornerstone of early childhood education in the area.
Impact
OLCLC promotes the development of children as creative individuals, enhancing their self-esteem and mastery of skills in a secure, happy environment.
