Founded in 1959, Old First Nursery School is the oldest cooperative nursery school in New York City. Nestled in the heart of Park Slope, this parent-run cooperative has thrived for over sixty years, fostering a strong, supportive community. While the school has rented space from Old First Dutch Reformed Church, it operates independently, ensuring a nurturing environment free from religious affiliation. Our commitment to progressive, play-based education allows children to explore, learn, and grow in a warm atmosphere.
