Our Story
The Old Academy Players, established in 1923 as the Moment Musical Club, began with a passionate group of 19 members from the Falls Methodist Church. Their inaugural production, "The Minister’s Wife’s New Bonnet," set the stage for a legacy of theatrical excellence. Over the decades, the club evolved into a vibrant community theater, acquiring the Old Academy in 1932 and transforming it into a beloved performance venue. Through the dedication of its members and the generosity of patrons, the theater has flourished, providing countless productions and fostering social connections.
