Okoa Refuge

Our Story

Founded by Tyler and Liv Workman in 2008, Okoa Refuge began as a home for vulnerable children. After relocating to Uganda in 2012, the mission expanded to strengthen and transform entire communities across East Africa. By meeting people where they are, Okoa Refuge addresses local needs with community-driven solutions.

Impact

Okoa Refuge has planted 750 churches, rescued 550 children, and established 102 Bible schools, significantly impacting communities in Uganda and East Africa.
