Our Story
The Okmulgee County Family Resource Center is a dedicated nonprofit organization that has been serving the community since 1987. Founded by concerned parents and civic-minded citizens, it aims to develop and administer programs that support families in Okmulgee, Creek, and Okfuskee Counties, as well as Creek Nation tribal members. Over the years, OCFRC has evolved to provide essential services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, as well as support for abused and neglected children in the juvenile court system. Notable initiatives include the CASA Project and the Safehouse Program, which have made a significant impact on the lives of many.
