Founded in 1974 by a compassionate group of parents facing the challenges of childhood cancer, the Oklahoma Children's Cancer Association (OCCA) has evolved into a vital support network for families in Oklahoma. Partnering with the OU Physicians Jimmy Everest Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, OCCA is dedicated to alleviating the stress and fears associated with a cancer diagnosis.
OCCA serves between 90 and 100 new patients each year, providing essential programs and support to approximately 300 existing patients. Through educational materials, scholarships, and engaging events, OCCA helps families navigate the difficult journey of cancer treatment.
Your generous contribution directly supports programs for children undergoing treatment at the OU Children’s Physicians Jimmy Everest Center and those who are cancer survivors. With no paid employees, every dollar donated goes directly to helping families in need.
