Ojala Ministries began in 1986 with a group of youth from St. Agnes Church in Concord, California, who embarked on a mission trip to Tijuana, Mexico. This initiative led to the establishment of La Morita Mexico Youth Mission in 1996, focusing on building homes for families in need and nurturing a Christian community among participants.
Since its inception, Ojala Ministries has engaged over 1,800 participants, constructing more than 99 homes, a church, and a community center in Mexico. Participants experience profound personal growth in their faith and understanding of poverty, inspiring ongoing commitment to Christian service and social justice.
